Temperatures will warm into this weekend with highs back near average. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high of 78. 

Saturday night will be clear with lows in the 50s to near 60. 

Sunday will be sunny to partly cloudy with highs near 80.

Beach and boating

This weekend will be really nice for beach and boating activities. Both days will be nice at the beach with highs in the 70s.  The water temperature has now dropped into the 60s.

The boating forecast also will be good with light winds.

PINELLAS

Bourbon at the Beach | 5 p.m.: Enjoy an evening of whiskey tasting and support The National Fallen FireFighters Foundation on its mission to help those who have lost a family member in the line of duty.

The Odd Couple, Female Version | Saturday, 6:30 p.m.; Sunday, 1:30 p.m. | $15 – $18: Enjoy a performance from the Pelican Players based on the 1970s sitcom, “The Odd Couple.”

2025 Kukkiwon International Cup | 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.: Taekwondo teams from all over the United States and other countries are expected to compete at this year’s tournament. There will also be various events and demonstrations, poomsae, breaking, high kick, and a ninja obstacle course for kids.

Sheriff Chad Chronister’s Ultimate Run | 7 a.m. – 11 a.m. | $18 – $55: Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to walk or jog for a good cause, this event is for everyone. There will be a 1-mile family walk, 5K, and 10K run.

City of Lake Wales Annual Fall Festival | 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.: Families can enjoy inflatables, a pumpkin patch, hayrides, arts and crafts, face painters, and a festive selfie station.

Polk County Optimism Walk for Parkinson’s Awareness | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: This community fundraiser supports the American Parkinson’s Disease Association and aims to unite participants around a common cause: putting an end to Parkinson’s disease.

Brooksville Main Street Presents Downtown Street Market Featuring A Salute to Veterans | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.: South Brooksville Avenue will be transformed into a marketplace filled with veteran-owned businesses, handmade crafts, specialty food trucks, and unique goods. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with veteran organizations and learn more about ways to support the military community.

Sunshine Hootenanny Music & Art Festival | 9 a.m. – 12 a.m. | $75 – $95: The festival features a variety of classic rock, southern rock, bluegrass, reggae, tribute and jam bands on two alternating stages. This is an all-ages event, so bring your family and friends.

3rd Annual Blues on the Hilltop Festival | 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. | $20 – $35: Feel the blues all day long with five live blues acts and multiple food trucks.

Kirkwood Christmas Market | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.: More than a dozen charities will set up displays where the public can buy gift items and/or make donations in honor of people on their shopping lists. In addition to shopping in the holiday spirit, the event will offer free photo-taking with Santa, door prizes and a homemade cookie sale.
