Lee Brice, Tyler Hubbard to co-headline Valspar LIVE
CLEARWATER — Ruth Eckerd Hall on the Road will present two of country music’s top stars, Lee Brice and Tyler Hubbard, as the co-headliners at the 2026 version of Valspar LIVE on Saturday, March 21, at the Osprey Driving Range at Innisbrook Resort.
This will be the 10th free concert in the Valspar LIVE series and the third one with more than one featured act. Tickets for the 2026 Valspar Championship, including Valspar LIVE, will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 18 for all tournament days, including Saturday, at ValsparChampionship.com.
Jordan Davis was last year’s star. The other Valspar LIVE acts have been The Band Perry (2015), Rascal Flatts (2016), Toby Keith (2017), Jake Owen and Dustin Lynch (2018), Brad Paisley (2019), Chris Young and Big & Rich (2022), Darius Rucker (2023) and Cole Swindell (2024).
South Carolina-born singer-songwriter Lee Brice has been making hits for nearly two decades. Often nominated, he has won three ACM Song of the Year Awards. One of the most-played country artists of all-time on Pandora, he was the second country artist to receive the Pandora Billboard plaque. Brice is also a Grammy nominee, a CMA award winner and he’s taken nine radio singles to No. 1. “Love Like Crazy” broke a 62-year-old record for the longest run on the country chart.
Now a solo artist, Tyler Hubbard has already had a remarkable career as a songwriter and as one half of multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line. He has amassed more than two billion streams to date with 23 No. 1 singles on country radio. As a solo artist, he has released two albums, “Tyler Hubbard” and “Strong,” each of which has produced two No. 1 hits. The Monroe, Georgia, native is the only country artist to launch two separate careers with four consecutive chart-toppers.
Brice and Hubbard will each perform for 45-minutes on the Valspar Championship stage. Anyone with a Saturday ticket to the Valspar Championship is admitted without extra charge to the concert scheduled to begin at the conclusion of play around 6 p.m.
On the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook, Viktor Jovland will defend his 2025 Valspar Championship title against a top field of PGA TOUR pros.

Local author to host presentation
CRYSTAL BEACH — Tampa Bay author M.F. Gross will host a live presentation and ghost tour on Friday, Oct. 17, 6:30 p.m., at the Crystal Beach Community Center, 517 Crystal Beach Ave., Crystal Beach.
Gross will retrace the night a 1949 murder shook the town and sparked one of Florida’s largest manhunts. The event is expected to draw longtime residents who grew up hearing the case.
Earlier this year, Gross published his book “Madman: The Incredible True Story of John Calvin “Rastus” Russell, the Heinous Crime, and Sensational Manhunt That Terrified Central Florida in 1949.” The book centers on John Calvin “Rastus” Russell, a violent ex-con and former asylum patient who killed a retiree, nearly killed two others, and vanished into the swamps. After years of researching archives and eyewitness accounts, Gross is bringing the community back through the actual locations and ending at the original murder site.
