FORT PIERCE – A Fort Pierce man was arrested on Nov. 7 on various drug charges by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division (SID) detectives, according to sheriff’s office reports.
Antonio Tyrone McArthur, 49, of the 2000 block of Oleander Boulevard, Fort Pierce, a 16-time convicted felon, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine; possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine; possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to sheriff’s office reports.
The arrest was the result of a narcotics-related search warrant served by SID detectives, with assistance from the sheriff’s office SWAT Team.
During the search, detectives recovered approximately 20 grams of cocaine; approximately 7.5 grams of marijuana; various drug paraphernalia, including a scale and packaging materials; and a .380 caliber handgun, and an additional magazine, according to sheriff’s office reports.
McArthur was in the St. Lucie County Jail as of Nov. 8 on a $50,000 bond.
