Two Jacksonville truck drivers were selected for the Florida Trucking Association’s Florida Road Team that serves as industry ambassadors.
Members are selected based on their driving record, community involvement, regulatory expertise and public speaking skills. They educate the public on safe driving techniques and how to safely share the road with trucks, according to the association.
The two Jacksonville drivers have worked for UPS for seven years:

Miguel Sanchez, a 24-year professional truck driver, in 2025 was Florida’s Truck Driving Championships grand champ and won the national championships’ Twins class. He is a Bible group leader and basketball league announcer.
