Following a construction permit filed earlier this month, Universal Orlando has confirmed that Epic Universe is already expanding.
Epic Universe to Receive “Exciting Additions”

The Orlando Business Journal reported on the official statement from Alyson Sologaistoa, Vice President of Public Relations for Universal Orlando Resort:
“[Universal Orlando] is preparing for some exciting additions to Universal Epic Universe in the future. … Details about specific developments will be shared in due time.”
The statement follows news of a permit filed on November 7 for “site utilities and foundation work” and “new construction” on a 150,000 square foot location in Epic Universe, with May 7, 2026, as the end date, meaning that construction is planned to be completed before the park’s first anniversary. This new building would be roughly the size of the Le Cirque Arcanus show building and Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry combined.
