Feeling nostalgic for the big acts of rock ‘n’ roll history? They are coming back in 2026.

Two heavyweight bands are headed to Tallahassee for two separate concerts at the Adderley Amphitheater next year, with tickets going on sale this week.

Legendary soul and funk band Earth Wind & Fire, last in Tallahassee for a memorable show in 2022, will be the opening act for next year’s Word of South festival, founder Mark Mustian announced Nov. 17. The festival is set for April 24-26.

Leon County and Scott Carswell Present are bringing 1970s rock titans Toto (“Africa,” “Rosanna”) to The Adderley for An Evening with Toto concert on Feb. 26.

Leon County, Word of South and Scott Carswell Present will bring the Grammy-winning, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band to the Adderley Amphitheater for An Evening With Earth, Wind & Fire on April 24. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are P1 Reserved (Sections 200 & 300) $125; P2 Reserved ( Sections 100 & 400) $112; and General Admission Lawn $95.

An Evening With Toto will be at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at The Adderley Amphitheater at Cascades Park. Gates open at 6 p.m. Ticket pricing is P1 Reserved (Sections 200 & 300) $112; P2 Reserved ( Sections 100 & 400) $89; General Admission Lawn $64.

Earth Wind & Fire

The legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire (“Shinging Star, September”) is a music institution. In 1969, music legend Maurice White birthed the music force named after the elements from his own astrological charts. With soul as deep as the planet, Earth, Wind & Fire charted a history that lives on.

They’ve scored eight number one hits and have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. They’ve released 23 albums; eight of those albums went Double Platinum and hit the Top 10, making them one of the best selling artists of all time.

They’ve won an impressive nine Grammy awards awards including one for Lifetime Achievement (2012).In 2000, Earth, Wind & Fire was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, cementing their lastingimpact on popular music and, in 2019, their contributions to arts and culture was acknowledgedin Washington, DC, with the prestigious Kennedy Center honors.

Following this summer’s tour with Christopher Cross and Men At Work, Toto will stage a tour presenting the band’s “An Evening With” performance. Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams have curated a new set list for this excursion featuring more than two hours of music nightly.

This past year has been one of the strongest in the band’s 48 years of existence with more than ahalf a million fans coming out to see them perform, alongside over a billion streams counted thisyear. Toto’s largest hit “Africa” has achieved the milestone of 2 billion plays on Spotify. Band members are also excited to celebrate the aging down of the band’s audience, with half the streams from those 34 or younger. The live audience has become a celebration of three generations coming together. Led by Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams, the band features a collection of lifelong friends, and has endured changing trends and styles while continuing to remain relevant.
