1. County Commissioners to discuss Manatee juvenile curfew ordinance

The Justice Department engaged in a “disturbing pattern of profound investigative missteps” in the process of securing an indictment against former FBI Director James Comey, a federal judge ruled Monday in directing prosecutors to produce to defense lawyers all grand jury materials from the case.

6. Applications open for Tampa’s $2 million hurricane recovery program
Applications opened Monday morning for the new city program that awards up to $30,000 to eligible homeowners hit by Hurricane Helene or Hurricane Milton.

Your Notes for Tonight and Tomorrow

TRAFFIC NOTE | A temporary closure of the southbound I-275 ramp (Exit 45B) to eastbound I-4 will happen from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., tomorrow through Thursday and again Sunday through next Tuesday, November 25. A detour will be in place. The ramp closure is necessary for crews to install temporary lighting for the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project.

GAS PRICES UP | Florida gas prices are declining again after abruptly rising 12 cents early last week. The state average went from $2.84 per gallon on Monday to $2.96 on Wednesday. By Sunday, the state average was back down to $2.92 per gallon. That is  6.5 cents more than a week ago, 5 cents less than last month and 21 cents less than this time last year. BOLTS THIS WEEK | The Tampa Bay Lightning play the second and third games of a three-game homestand this week. The Bolts, who have lost two of three, host the New Jersey Devils tomorrow night at Benchmark International Airport. The puck drops at 7 p.m. On Thursday, Tampa Bay welcomes the Edmonton Oilers, with a start time of 7:30 p.m.
