TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Remembering Me Project hosted a fundraiser Monday night to help teens in need.

Michael Cork, president of Let’s Take L.E.A.D., said they had guests sign a Note of Hope, which will be placed in gift baskets that will be delivered to foster kids at Northwest Florida Health.

“This is a note of encouragement, letting them know that we remember them, that they are special, and that they mean something to us,” Cork said.

The organization aims to help those who have aged out of the foster care system and make sure they feel valued by providing gifts and personal care products.
