A man was arrested for alleged lewd and lascivious conduct on a girl at a church in Miami-Dade, authorities said.
Ricardo Antonio Ochoa, 71, was arrested Monday on a charge of lewd and lascivious conduct on a child, an arrest report said.

According to the report, the alleged incident happened Saturday at Miami Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church on Northwest 50th Street in Brownsville.
The 11-year-old told her mother and grandmother that while attending church service she was sexually assaulted by Ochoa, a member of the congregation, the report said.
The girl said she was charging her phone in a hallway when Ochoa approached her and started speaking with her.
She said he asked her age and complimented her on her looks then grabbed her cheeks and kissed her on the lips, the report said.
The girl said she tried to push him away but was unsuccessful, but was later able to break free and ran to the women’s restroom to escape, the report said.
Ochoa was found by authorities but refused to speak without an attorney before he was arrested and booked into jail, the report said.
