The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
STPSO officials said the last person known to be with the man was his nephew, 36-year-old Cecil Hall. Hall was located Saturday in the Miami area, allegedly driving his uncle’s Tahoe. Following a pursuit, in which Hall allegedly rammed a Florida Highway Patrol cruiser and crashed and flipped the Tahoe, Hall was arrested and booked into the Miami Dade County Jail.
Hall will be booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail after his release from Miami-Dade.
