Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a Cape Coral cold case more than a decade old.On Nov. 18, 2014, 54-year-old Al Griffiths was sitting outside a TJ Maxx in Cape Coral. During his smoke break, Griffiths was approached by an unknown man and shot multiple times, at least once in the head.Eleven years later, the investigation is still active, with Griffiths’ death determined to be a homicide.If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), on the P3 app, or on its website.
