The Indoor Football League is coming to the Kia Center in 2026. The Massachusetts Pirates announced on Monday that they were relocating the franchise to Central Florida and will rebrand as the Orlando Pirates. “There’s really nowhere else we’d rather be as an organization than the city of Orlando,” said Jawad Yatim, founder, chief executive officer and general manager of the Orlando Pirates, in a statement. “I’ve always admired the enthusiasm and engagement that surrounded the product from a distance and when the opportunity presented itself to integrate the Pirates within the Central Florida region, we didn’t hesitate to do so,” added Yatim. “We have a responsibility to the people of this community to deliver a product they can be proud of, and we won’t take that obligation lightly.”The Indoor Football League is made up of 14 teams across the United States. All home games for the Pirates will be played at the Kia Center, home of the NBA’s Orlando Magic and ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears. Tickets start at $19.99 and can be purchased at the Kia Center box office or Ticketmaster.com.
