ORLANDO, Fla. — At the IAAPA Expo on Tuesady, SeaWorld Orlando gave a first look at its upcoming dark ride, SEAQuest: Legends of the Deep.

They debuted a ride vehicle that takes on the look of an underwater submarine.

“This beautiful new submarine vehicle is going to take guests where they’ve never gone before, see things they’ve never seen before, in ways never been done before at a theme park,” said Conner Carr, VP of Corporate Rides & Engineering

The ride’s manufacturer is Vekoma, a Dutch firm with an office in Downtown Orlando.

They’ve designed many large attractions, including TRON Lightcycle Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Expedition Everest at Walt Disney World.

SEAQuest will be the company’s first project for SeaWorld Orlando.

The ride is designed for all ages and will put guests face to face with the wonders of the ocean.

It’s expected to open sometime next year, in 2026.
