LEGOLAND Florida Resort is bringing its first indoor roller coaster to the park. It is called Galaticoaster.The space-themed experience is set to launch in early 2026. Even in Florida,” said Rob Smith, COO of Merlin Entertainments.The indoor family ride will take guests on a space adventure, reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour. Guests, referred to as rookie recruits and space cadets, will have the opportunity to design their own spacecraft for the ride, with more than 625 combinations available.”That immersive experience with the build, with the customization, it’s about driving creativity. And that’s the amazing thing about LEGO that you can do at a LEGOLAND resorts,” Smith said.LEGOLAND will release the opening date for Galacticoaster during its tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 6.The announcement helped kick off another busy day at the IAAPA Expo, which features over 1,100 exhibitors occupying 500,000 square feet at the Orange County Convention Center.The trade show includes not only rides and attractions, but also games, stuffed toys and a variety of food, creating a carnival-like atmosphere.With Orlando being the theme park capital of the world, it serves as the perfect place to welcome theme park operators and attraction vendors.The IAAPA Expo runs through Friday.
