Gulf Beaches library unveils activities

MADEIRA BEACH — The Gulf Beaches Public Library has released its schedule of upcoming programs:

• Writers Group: Mondays, 10 a.m.-noon

• Adult Coloring Book Group: Wednesday, Nov. 26, 11 a.m.-noon. New at the library, take some time to calm your mind. Coloring books, markers, and colored pencils will be provided.

• Library App Help: Wednesdays, 2-3 p.m. For help with Libby, Kanopy, and Hoopla.

• Closed: Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28. Thanksgiving.

• Storytime: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., ages 2 and under.

• Adult Art Class: Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 5-7:30 p.m. Watercolor class with artist Deb Barnard. All materials will be provided. Registration required.

TradeWinds adds six new dining spots

ST.PETE BEACH — TradeWinds Resort has announced the expansion of its culinary landscape with six new dining spots. From two coastal-inspired restaurants and a counter-service pizza shop to a coffee shop with fresh pastries and specialty sandwiches, a sweets shop, and a big selection of grab-and- go delights, guests and locals now have an array of delicious options to sip, snack, and savor right at the beach.

The resort is already known for RumFish Grill & Sports Bar, home to a 33,500-gallon fish tank, and Palm Court Italian, a top-rated restaurant on Tripadvisor.

The Luce hotel to open early 2026

The newest addition to St. Pete Beach’s shoreline, The Luce, is set to make its debut early 2026.

Owned by The LCP Group, helmed by CEO Francis Lively, and managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, the hotel is the newest addition to the Tribute Portfolio brand from Marriott Bonvoy. It will have 200 rooms, including a selection of bungalow studio suites, as well as St. Pete Beach’s largest pool.

Sundrop, the hotel’s coastal-inspired lobby restaurant and bar, will offer indoor and outdoor seating with brunch and dinner service. On the sand, Baby Turtle Beach Club will offer casual American Coastal fare to the beach and pool from day to dusk.

The hotel will also boast over 14,000 square feet of combined event space across seven indoor and outdoor curated spaces. The Luce’s venues include a 2,280-square-foot ballroom, four versatile indoor options, and the Palm Court and the Palm Pavilion, which are located outdoors.
