Rapper Megan Thee Stallion is expected to take the stand on Thursday morning in a Miami courtroom to testify against a blogger who she alleges has been harassing her for years since she was shot by fellow artist Tory Lanez.
In the lawsuit filed in 2024, Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, alleges that blogger Elizabeth Milagro Cooper has spread falsehoods on social media and YouTube about the shooting, for which Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, is serving a 10-year sentence.
The lawsuit alleges that since the shooting, Cooper has worked on behalf of Peterson to “denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about Pete for “no other reason than to bully, harass and punish” her for Peterson’s conviction and to “tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress.”
Pete also accuses Cooper of sharing a deepfake pornographic video of her to her 27,000 followers on X.
Pete is suing for unspecified damages “to end Defendant Cooper’s vendetta against her.”
