Former Cape Coral nurse convicted of trafficking drugs from hospice

A Cape Coral man was convicted of trafficking morphine and oxycodone following a jury trial in Lee County, the State Attorney’s office said on Thursday.Stephen Francis Murphy, a former nurse, had 51 grams of morphine and 66 grams of liquid oxycodone that he took from Hope Hospice, his former place of employment. A Cape Coral man was convicted of trafficking morphine and oxycodone following a jury trial in Lee County, the State Attorney’s office said on Thursday.
