TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – There are dozens of pups who would love to join you and your loved ones for Thanksgiving and an after-dinner nap!
Furry Friday is a collaboration between WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center designed to get dogs out of their kennels and into the spotlight in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever families, faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET THOR
Thor has a severe case of cuteness.

Thor is active and affectionate.
He’ll lean in for a hug and stay there as long as you keep snuggling and scratching!
Thor knows sit and will gladly do so for one treat after another.
He’s playful, sociable, and adorable.

MEET GRACIE
Gracie loves car rides and would love to accompany you just about anywhere!(WCTV)
Meet Gracie!
A brindle beauty who is ready to explore the big wide world with you!
And this one’s a head scratcher, because Gracie has been at the shelter longer than almost all the other dogs.
Gracie is curious and keenly interested in the sights, sounds and smells unfolding all around her.
She loves car rides and would love to accompany you just about anywhere!
Gracie is also one of the most photogenic dogs ever – so perhaps she would be the perfect addition to your next family photo or Christmas card!

MEET NOVA
This shy little morsel … is not semi-sweet. Nova is super sweet!(WCTV)
Meet Nova.
This shy little morsel is not semi-sweet. She’s super sweet!
Nova is a 6 month old puppy whose owner could no longer care for her.
She is hoping to find a family that’ll help put the sparkle back in her eyes.
Nova is easy-peasy! She loves walks and simply stretching out at your feet.
Nova likes toys and kiddie pools and can’t wait to be a part of a loving family once more!

MEET SPYRO
Spyro is a goofy boy who wags his tail at warp speed and likes to go, go, go!(WCTV)
Meet Spyro.
This little man may have enjoyed the longest walk in Furry Friday history.
Spyro likes to go, go, go … but he had to check out the camera first!
Then Spyro started coming out of his shell.
He showed us how he dances for treats and wags his tail at warp speed!
Spyro is active and affectionate and would love to find a fun-loving family with a big backyard and a zest for outdoor adventures.

MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
People can walk through the kennels Wednesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. People can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
