ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Three Orange County employees are set to be interviewed on Friday in the latest continuation of the Florida DOGE audit.

Orange County, along with the city of Orlando, was among some of the first local governments audited by DOGE, as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Blaise Ingoglia claimed that many governments across the state had been overspending.

While the audit itself mainly took place back in August, when several people from DOGE came for several days and went through budget and data materials, 16 people were subpoenaed to be interviewed by the state.

The three people being interviewed on Friday, Nov. 21, will round out a total of four people who have been interviewed.

It’s unclear why those individuals were subpoenaed, and what kind of answers DOGE might be seeking from them with these interviews.

Originally, Ingoglia said the audit results could be available within 60 days. When Spectrum News 13 reached out to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office, it was explained that there is no estimate for when those materials will be published.
