Jackson View Landing closing due to invasive plant species in water

LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – Jackson View Landing is closing until further notice as crews are removing an invasive plant species from the water, according to Leon County Parks and Recreation.

The organization wrote that the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) requested this closure until further notice.

They did not disclose any other information regarding the plant species.

“We hope to reopen the landing very soon, but please check back for updates,” Leon County Parks and Recreation wrote.
