PORT ST. LUCIE ── This holiday season the ballroom at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Event Center will transform into an enchanting holiday concert venue with thousands of flickering LED candles to host an unforgettable performance featuring classic Christmas carols and timeless holiday melodies, performed by a talented local string quartet.
Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to audience members, creating a serene atmosphere that seeks to enhance the listening experience.
“Christmas Carols on Strings” is an hour-long program and includes some of the classics like “O Holy Night” and “The First Noel.”
Candlelight concerts, the global concert series that reimagines classical music, are part of a series of original events by Fever. Fever is a website founded in 2011 that curates a list of unique and exciting things to do and to see in cities around the world. All tickets must be purchased in advance through the fever app or online at feverup.com.
“Christmas Carols on Strings” performances are 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Dec 18 and Dec 22.
Tickets range from $36.50 to $53.50 with additional fees. Children must be 8 years old or older. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue.
Tickets to one of these unique Candlelight concerts make great gifts. Programs pay tribute to contemporary artists including The Beatles, Queen, Coldplay, Adele, Imagine Dragons and Ed Sheeran, as well as iconic classical composers such as Vivaldi, Mozart, and Beethoven. The series also explores diverse genres like jazz, soul, pop, and film soundtracks, including “Bridgerton” and “The Wizard of Oz.”
