Cape Coral seeks redevelopment proposals for Bimini Basin East | GB Daily

City of Cape Coral is inviting proposals from qualified firms to redevelop Bimini Basin East, a 22-acre site bounded by Cape Coral Parkway, Coronado Parkway and Tarpon Court in the South Cape Community Redevelopment Area. Zoned for mixed-use development, the site allows a maximum density of 125 dwelling units per acre and a height of up to 12 stories or 160 feet. The city’s vision includes creating a vibrant, walkable district featuring mixed-use buildings with retail, residential and hospitality components, as well as public gathering spaces, outdoor dining and art-enhanced streetscapes. Proposals will be accepted electronically through CapeCoral.ionwave.net until 3 p.m. Oct. 30.
