KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Volunteers have moved up in the AP Poll after defeating Florida in “The Swamp” for the first time since 2003.
The latest AP Poll released on Sunday has the Vols ranked No. 18 in the country, an improvement of two spots from No. 20, where the Vols were ranked after beating New Mexico State.

Ohio State maintains its No. 1 position with Indiana ranked No. 2. Other SEC teams ranked in the top 25 are No. 3 Texas A&M, No. 4 Georgia, No. 6 Ole Miss, No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 10 Alabama, No. 12 Vanderbilt and No. 16 Texas.
The Vols will now look to the College Football Playoff poll that will be revealed Tuesday night. Last week, Tennessee found themselves in the back-half of the rankings at No. 20.

Looking ahead, Tennessee will face Vanderbilt at home for an in-state rivalry matchup on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. to round out the regular season.
