A Florida homeowner came out guns blazing when a crew of would-be burglars attempted to barge into his family house — with one of the crooks left dead and the others still in the wind.
Gunfire erupted from the home in Kendall around 7 p.m., where a stranger was lurking on the porch and three others were standing in the yard when the homeowner saw them, reports said.
“I heard my mom scream, ‘Get off my porch, I’m going to call 911,’” the brave homeowner told NBC 6 South Florida. “So I became frantic and I started looking for my gun.”

Home security footage captured the gunfire, and screaming that ensued.
“I wasn’t trying to kill him, but when he barged in, I was scared for my life,” the homeowner said. “Not only for my life, I was scared for my mom.”
Three of the suspects fled and remain on the loose.

But the fourth man — who was shot in the torso — was transported to a hospital and later died.
The shaken homeowner had no regrets about defending his family — but wished things didn’t have to have to turn out the way they did.
“I wish it was all a bad dream. Like this is a nightmare,” he told NBC 6.
“I’m going to need years and years of therapy. Worst night of my life. I wish it never happened.”
