Florida’s gas prices have had the lowest daily average since May.
On Sunday, the state average for a gallon of gas was $2.92, according to AAA – The Auto Club Group.
The price is $0.12 less than a week ago, $0.07 less than a month ago and $0.18 less than this time last year.
“Florida gas prices slipped to the lower end of the 30-cent range, which it has fluctuated within for the past year,” said spokesman Mark Jenkins.
The most expensive metro markets in the state are West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.09), Gainesville ($3.05) and Naples ($2.97).
The least expensive metro markets are Crestview-Fort Walton Beach ($2.76), Pensacola ($2.79) and Panama City ($2.81).
