ORLANDO, Fla. – After a week off, I’m back, refreshed and ready to tackle what is traditionally one of the busiest travel stretches of the entire year.
If there’s ever a week when Central Florida roads feel like they’re at maximum capacity, it’s this one, and for good reason.
Thanksgiving kicks it off, Black Friday follows, and before you know it, the rest of the holiday season rolls right in behind it. Add in the ongoing challenges with air travel, and it’s no surprise that so many of you choose to stay behind the wheel instead of the window seat.

With more drivers on the road, stress levels naturally climb, and that’s where some of our unsung heroes come in: Road Rangers.
Today’s stream will shine a spotlight on the men and women who work along our highways to keep traffic moving and respond when stress is at its highest. Anyone who follows our streams knows how much I value our Road Rangers. They’re often the first to arrive when a vehicle is stranded, a lane is blocked, or a driver simply needs a helping hand.
We’ll be talking with one of these Road Rangers to give you an inside look at what their job entails, the equipment they rely on, and how their work helps prevent backups during the most congested week of the year.
As we head into the holiday rush, join me for this behind-the-scenes conversation. And as always, drive safe, stay patient, and let’s get through this wild week together.
