Rapper and unparalleled storyteller Earl Sweatshirt is currently on tour behind his archly titled album Live Laugh Love, and it’s a jaunt that thankfully takes him into Orlando.
Sweatshirt rhymes beatifically about aging and becoming a father and family man throughout the album, seemingly saying goodbye to the bleakly nihilistic songcraft of 2015’s I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside.
Indeed, Sweatshirt leans into more recent work to fill out the setlists on this current tour, but since he goes for the full Springsteen of 20-plus numbers a night, you’re bound to hear some of the early hits. Will the baby onesies he recently designed be at the merch table? We can only hope.
