Kids can roller skate and snowball fight with The Grinch in Tampa this week

It’s about as likely to snow in Tampa Bay as it is to see The Grinch on roller skates. But somehow, both are happening at United Skates of Tampa this Black Friday.

He’ll come down from Mount Crumpit to take part in a snowball fight on the rink. In lieu of Who-Pudding and Roast Beast, there will be a special combo: $22 for a cheese pizza and a pitcher of soda. Sounds like a wonderful, awful idea.

Okay, so maybe he’ll be more like a Great Value Grinch, a Gronch so to speak. Still, he knows how to get down.

Tickets are $10 (including rentals) for The Grinch’s Indoor Snowball Fight, happening Friday, Nov. 28. 2-6 p.m. and 6:30-9:30 p.m. in Tampa .
