Golisano Autism Community Hub opened at 3221 Chiquita Blvd. S. in Cape Coral, a facility on the Thrive Academy campus designed to provide education, training and community-building for children on the autism spectrum and the parents who support them. The Hub was made possible by a $5 million donation from the Golisano family and includes dedicated spaces for professional development, continuing education and hands-on training to help families, educators and community members deepen their understanding and strengthen support practices. Family Initiative leaders said the new center is intended to build a stronger sense of community and will continue to expand programs and services for families across Southwest Florida.Â
