An evening wreck in Taylor County turned fatal with the death of a 41-year-old pedestrian.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, around 7:20 p.m. on Nov. 23, a pickup truck was traveling west on County Road 30 (Foley Road) while the victim was walking west in the roadway.
The pickup struck the woman, sending her into a ditch next to the shoulder of the road. (FHP does not identify crash victims in news releases.)

The driver immediately stopped. The woman was taken to Doctors Memorial Hospital where she died.
Troopers were assisted on scene by Taylor County sheriff’s deputies, as well as Taylor County Fire-Rescue and EMS.
