Meet Peggy and Dave Bach
“Despite being flooded out of their home until just recently, this wonderful duo have been involved and investing lots of volunteer hours for Gecko Fest, [Pink] Flamingo Tour of Homes, Marina District Holiday Party, The Gabber Newspaper Book Club at Habana Cafe,” Ann New told us in her nomination.

“We moved to Gulfport in 2020, fulfilling a longtime retirement dream. We love this quirky, walkable town and have tried to give back by serving on the Gecko Ball Committee, the Pink Flamingo Home Tour Committee, and helping wherever we can,” Peggy told The Gabber Newspaper, adding, “we enjoy entertaining in our Marina District home and listening to music downtown with friends. Most of all, we love the people and spirit of Gulfport. We don’t feel worthy of this nomination because so many Gulfportians step up and make a difference every day — that’s what truly makes Gulfport, Gulfport.”
