TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Nearly a week after a fire ripped through a building at a Tallahassee apartment complex, the parent company of the complex is extending sympathy to those impacted.
“Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this tragic event, particularly those most directly affected,” the statement said.
The Social Seminole also said they are cooperating with the Fire Marshal and other authorities as they work to determine the cause of the fire.
“Our residents continue to be our absolute #1 priority during this difficult time,” the statement continued. “We are working tirelessly to support those affected and have relocated all Building F residents to temporary and permanent accommodations. Our team will continue to remain on-site, providing immediate assistance and essential items.”
The statement also thanked the Tallahassee Fire Department and other first responders who were able to stop the fire quickly.

The fire, which broke out last Wednesday, injured eight people and displaced more than 70, many of whom are students.
