Search intensifies for 17-year-old Port St. Lucie girl missing since May

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Deputies are seeking tips in the search for a teen girl who’s been missing for nearly six months.

According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), 17-year-old Veronica Lopez DeLean was last seen leaving her Port St. Lucie residence on May 30 with her boyfriend.

Despite ongoing efforts, officers say they have been unable to locate her.

Officials say Lopez DeLean has brown eyes and brown hair, and based on the investigation, officers say she may be in Palm Beach County.

SLCSO urges anyone with information on Lopez DeLean’s whereabouts to contact the detective on the case at (772) 462-3371.
