ORLANDO, Fla. – The FBI is offering $20,000 for information in the suspicious death of a woman who was last seen alive in May in Orlando.
Meredith Rose Walker was last seen on May 30 near Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando.
Her remains were later found in Emporia, Virginia, in early June.
According to the FBI, she had just been released from jail and family members believe she may have tried to head north to be with family. Officials said because she didn’t have transportation, she may have hitchhiked along Interstate 95.
She had brown hair and green eyes and the following tattoos: the word “Love” on her right wrist, a butterfly on her chest, and a lotus flower on her right thigh. She was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI’s Richmond Field Office at (804) 261-1044.
