TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Due to expected cold night temperatures, overnight cold-weather shelters will be available in Tallahassee on Thursday and Friday.
Anyone in need of cold-weather shelter is encouraged to go to any of the locations below that best represent their household composition:
Single Adults (18 and over): The Kearney Center- 2650 Municipal WayFamilies (At least 1 adult and child): HOPE Community- 2729 West PensacolaYouth (ages 10-17): 2407 Roberts Ave- Hotline Number 850-576-6000
Those in need of shelter must show up at their specified location anytime between 4 to 8 p.m. for intake.
Those in need of assistance accessing Star Metro, call Big Bend Continuum of Care’s Street Outreach Coordinator at 850-759-1895 or email outreach@bigbendcoc.org.
