The crash happened just before 1:15 a.m. on June 9, 2024, on the exit ramp to Broward Boulevard from southbound Interstate 95.

According to an arrest report, Brice was driving a Lexus IS250 sedan when he failed to negotiate a curve, hit the median wall and went airborne, causing the car to overturn.

The crash killed one of his passengers, 31-year-old Jessica Paniagua Buesaquillo, and injured a male passenger.

Brice had to be extricated from the car, and a Florida Highway Patrol trooper who responded smelled alcohol on Brice’s breath, while a tequila bottle was found in the car, the report said.

The report said they had been drinking at a retro arcade in Delray Beach, and the male passenger said Brice had been drinking throughout the night and was speeding before the crash.

A blood sample taken from Brice less than an hour after the crash showed his blood alcohol level at .14, well above Florida’s legal limit of .08, the report said.

Another sample taken more than four hours after the crash showed his blood alcohol level was .077, the report said.

Brice was booked into a Broward jail on Tuesday.
