A Cape Coral man was arrested Tuesday night after Lee County narcotics detectives discovered nearly 4 pounds of fentanyl pills in his work vehicle. Neighbors saw multiple Lee County deputies lining the street on Tuesday night along Northwest 16th Place in Cape Coral. They were left wondering what was happening just steps from their home. “Majority of the cops were blocking the road, so I did have to pass by very slow. I did see him in handcuffs, and there was two police officers next to him,” said neighbors Jayson Bonilla-Mora & Luna Gonzalez Ferregut.Detectives suspected Reginald Faust was trafficking drugs from Miami and Tampa. As K-9s sniffed his car, Faust took off. He didn’t get far before detectives took him into custody. Inside his vehicle, detectives found 3.93 pounds of pressed fentanyl pills. LCSO described the pills to look like Coca-Cola and Christmas tree candies. A search warrant on his home also uncovered two firearms. “The fact that it was fentanyl of all of them, I mean, it’s just crazy. It makes me wonder if he’s interacting with anybody else,” said Bonilla-Mora. Faust is no stranger to jail; he served 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy to traffic dangerous drugs-cocaine. A Cape Coral man was arrested Tuesday night after Lee County narcotics detectives discovered nearly 4 pounds of fentanyl pills in his work vehicle.

Neighbors saw multiple Lee County deputies lining the street on Tuesday night along Northwest 16th Place in Cape Coral. They were left wondering what was happening just steps from their home.

Detectives suspected Reginald Faust was trafficking drugs from Miami and Tampa.
