Brace yourself, Brandon. A big ol’ Dick’s is opening at the mall.
The company’s website says that a Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport is opening at Brandon Exchange, formerly known as the Brandon Mall, on Friday, Oct. 31.
The grand opening at 686 Brandon Town Center Dr. happens Friday-Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 2 and includes appearances from current and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Bucky Irving, Rob Gronkowski), plus mystery gift cards (up to $500) for the first 100 adults in line each day, soccer balls for the first 100 kids on Friday, and Stanley cups, too.
Dick’s House of Sport stores have girthier footprints than normal Dick’s stores thanks to the addition of interactive elements like batting cages, running tracks and climbing walls.
