A night of opera is coming to the Island.
The Key Biscayne Community Foundation, in partnership with the Crossbridge Church, is bringing members of the acclaimed Florida Grand Opera to Key Biscayne.
Featuring members of the Florida Grand Opera Studio Artist Program, Catherin Meza, soprano, and Levi Adkins, tenor, with Lauren Frick, mezzo-soprano, and Dr. Jared Peroune, piano will bring concertgoers a night of opera arias and duets, sacred music, and moving spirituals with Dr. Jared Peroune at the piano.
Coming from a season of stacked performances, including over four “Silent Night” presentations in November alone, FGO artists have been delivering nights of moving music on a silver platter. Now, Key Biscayne will get a chance to experience their talent as well.
“The Sacred Stage: Opera, Oratorio, and Spirituals,” will be held on December 3 at 7 p.m., with a reception at 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Crossbridge Church, located at 160 Harbor Drive. Admission is free and open to the public, and seats are available on a first come, first serve basis.
