The crew currently has the fire under control, according to officials.

TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Fire Rescue is on the scene of a fire at a Seminole Heights home. 

Crews currently have the fire under control on Thursday morning on East Idlewild Avenue. Pictures from officials show the scorched building with heavy smoke surrounding it. 

The cause is under investigation.
