Cellphone video shows the chaos that unfolded when gunshots rang out early Friday at a restaurant and nightclub in Hollywood.
Officers were called just before 2 a.m. to a shooting in the 5450 block of South State Road 7. Video showed how police blocked off the shopping center and focused on GhostBar restaurant and nightclub.
Police said they found one person with injuries at the scene.
The victim was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital, and they are currently in stable condition, police said. More information about what kind of injuries they suffered was not provided.
Video from inside the club showed two people fighting and pushing one another – and then panic ensued, with people flipping chairs as they scrambled toward the exit. A person was seen being wheeled into an ambulance.
While officers were on scene at GhostBar, a second shooting occurred at 5190 South State Road 7, police said. No injuries were reported there.
Police said the two shootings are connected, but did not provide more information.
The investigation is ongoing.
