TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A quiet and cool start to the weekend. A few showers are possible on Sunday.
⛅Quiet start to the weekend:
We are starting partly to mostly sunny with temperatures in the 30s and 40s once again this morning.
Partly cloudy this afternoon. Highs are a little warmer in the mid-60s.
Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a chance of some afternoon showers. Similar to last weekend, these showers will be in a couple of spots and only last 15 to 20 minutes. Highs in the low 70s.
⛈️Meaningful rain arrives:
The next weathermaker arrives late Monday and into your Tuesday. This will be the first widespread rainfall we have seen in quite some time.
Many locations will likely pick up between 0.25″ and 0.50″. I will track any changes in the coming days. The heaviest rain is likely to fall JUST to our northwest.
I will keep my eyes on the track of this low. Any minor change could increase or decrease the amount of rain we get.
Drier and cooler after the front passes in the middle to late next week. Another front approaches the southeast on Friday. This would be our next chance for showers.
