TAMPA, Fla. — Helping families in need — that’s why Beulah Baptist Institutional Church hosts their Christmas Miracle Market.

What You Need To Know

Beulah Baptist Institutional Church sold gifts with a maximum price of $20

Laptops, bikes, toys and more all were sold at the market

The church said they do this to give back to families in need this holiday season

For the second year, the church gave parents like Xavier Wilson the chance to purchase gifts at heavily discounted prices.

“This is absolutely top tier,” he said. “I haven’t seen anything like this in about three or four years.”

Senior pastor Alan Harris said giving families like Wilson’s the chance to have a wonderful Christmas is why they do this.

With bikes, laptops and more, many of these gifts can reach prices of several hundred dollars.

Saturday, not a single item is listed for more than $20.

“All of us wanted to have a bicycle or some type of electronic,” he said. “Today, we wanted to give our community the opportunity to be able to buy these types of gifts at a very discounted price.”

Not having to worry about the prices, Wilson is making sure his kids can have the Christmas they’ve always dreamed about.

“I got a LeapFrog learning toy for my son,” he said. “He’s two in the developmental stage, so that’s going to help him. My daughter’s in middle school, transitioning to high school, so I got her a Chromebook that’ll help her because that’s more compatible with her schoolwork.”
