The FSU Seminoles lost to the Florida Gators 40-21 on Saturday in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. They are now 5-7 and failed to make a bowl game for the second straight year and fourth time in Mike Norvell’s six seasons as head coach.

The Seminoles were down 17-14 at halftime and forced a three-and-out to start the third quarter. They turned it over on downs on the ensuing drive, and Florida scored the next 17 points to take control of the game and pick up their second straight win over FSU.

While FSU’s offense was able to move the ball and finished with 6.3 yards per play, the defense could not get stops, and the offense failed to execute in critical moments. On offense, they finished the game 7-16 on 3rd and 4th down. The defense allowed Florida to score a season-high 40 points and for Jadan Baugh to run for 266 yards.

FSU’s fans took to social media to voice their frustrations after their latest loss. Here is a look at how social media reacted to FSU losing to Florida on Saturday.
