LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – One person is dead and another is injured after a single vehicle crash in Tallahassee, according to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP.)
FHP reported that the call came in around 6 p.m. on Saturday evening from North Monroe Street and Coolview Drive.
The driver of the van, a 75-year-old Tallahassee man, died and the passenger, a 43-year-old Tallahassee woman, was transported to the hospital, per FHP. Troopers said the passenger had serious injuries.

According to FHP, the van was driving south in the southbound lane on North Monroe Street and, for unknown reasons, left the lane, traveled across the grass median, the northbound lanes until its front struck a concrete wall.
Troopers said that after the collision, the van “rotated clockwise” and then came to a stop facing south.
