TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tallahassee Police are investigating after a 17-year-old was shot Sunday, according to the police department.
The incident transpired just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday after officers responded to a call about a “juvenile” being shot at the intersection of Orange Avenue West and Springhill Road, TPD wrote in a press release Monday morning.
Police arrived and found a 17-year-old with a gunshot wound to the upper leg, the press release said.
Shortly after, the teen was transported to the hospital “stable with serious but non-life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
As of Monday morning, TPD said there are no suspects and no arrests have been made.
This is an active investigation.
