The Chicago Bulls are in Orlando looking to stop their spiral downward from the top of the standings against Franz Magner and the Magic.
The Chicago Bulls‘ free fall continues as they lost to yet another sub-500 team in the Indiana Pacers.
They’ll face their first above-500 team for the first time in four games against the Orlando Magic. Every game is a must-win for the Bulls, no matter the opponent.
Bulls at Magic Preview
With the Magic being without star player Paolo Banchero, Matas Buzelis can hopefully use this game to find his offensive footing again. An easy advantage Chicago has over Orlando is PACE. Currently, the Bulls rank second in PACE while the Magic find themselves in the middle of the pack.
The only way the Bulls can fully use PACE to their advantage is through strong defensive possession and rebounds. Coincidentally, they struggle in both areas. If Buzelis can replicate his 11 rebounds from his last game, the Bulls will have a chance to build a strong lead and not look back. The Magic have one of the highest rebound percentages in the league despite not ranking in the top ten in traditional rebounding stats. The Bulls’ formula to win is the same as it is every game, it seems: rebound and push the pace.
