The Lee Board of County Commissioners voted to approve construction contracts for improvements at Lynn Hall Memorial Park and Crescent Beach Family Park. The enhancements address damages from Hurricane Ian in 2022.
Wright Construction Group, Inc. received a $6 million contract for Lynn Hall Memorial Park. The project includes replacing ADA-accessible boardwalks, adding picnic shelters, public parking, landscaping, lighting, and signage. A 4,114-square-foot elevated restroom building will also be constructed.
These improvements will be funded by FEMA, Regional Park impact fees, and Tourist Development Taxes. Construction is expected to start in February 2026, with completion by early summer 2027.
Vantage Construction Services, LLC was awarded a $1.3 million contract for Crescent Beach Family Park. This project will add shade structures, a modular restroom facility, bike racks, and picnic areas. Four beach access points, including one ADA-accessible route, will be included.
Funding for Crescent Beach will also come from FEMA, Regional Park impact fees, and Tourist Development Taxes. Construction is slated to begin in January 2026, with a target completion by early summer 2026.
