On Monday night, as Miami Art Week came to life, Ferragamo’s creative director Maximilian Davis welcomed his friends to Ferragamo After Hours, a late-night scene at the Andaz Miami Beach that felt less like a branded event and more like a house party.

Inside, the lobby had taken on a new life — with the vibe of a living room than check-in desk.

After climbing the twin staircases that frame the hotel’s entrance, guests stepped into a second-floor space where the party was buzzing and the crowd was letting loose, drinking and dancing with DJ Pressure Point and Mischa Notcutt spinning.

Guests like Quen Blackwell, Justine Skye, Marc Forne, Tyriq Withers and Jessie Andrews floated through the room, never in one place for too long.

Though the week was only just kicking off, Andrews and Withers were among those already preparing to head out the next day.

“I leave at 7 a.m.,” Withers said.

“You’re lying,” Owen Thiele shot back. It was midnight — an hour into the night.

“I’m here for Max,” said Andrews, adding that she’d made the quick trip to show support for Davis before returning home to New York.

Slipping between conversations, glasses clinking around them, guests drifted outside, where some sank into low couches with drinks in hand, while others gathered in small clusters, smoking cigarettes. The music thumped faintly from indoors, carrying the party into the early hours as people lingered in the warm Miami air.

For Ferragamo, the week is far from over. On Friday, the brand will host an Art Week gathering with the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, showcasing works by Nicaraguan American artist Joel Gaitan and bringing together curators and collectors for a conversation-driven evening focused on art and culture.
