Oh yes, you need a library card.
The Creation Space allows patrons to create personalized projects from various media, including vinyl, wood, fabric and plastic.
You can preserve your old VHS tapes, music albums, cassettes, film negatives, slides or photos in the Digital Conversion Lab.
All work inside the space is self-directed, and you need to set an appointment time by visiting claycountygov.libcal.com/spaces. The library requests that you call them three to five days in advance to schedule an orientation seminar.
According to the county, other equipment that’s available are:
• Cricut with accessories: A versatile tool for which will help you create custom decorations, unique signs, or fun projects, our Cricut is here to help you bring your ideas to life. Accessories include Heat Press and Mug Press.
